The Midnight Release
I was sitting writing by the window with my virtual fireplace on, watching the embers glow, and I realized that the most powerful thing we can do before the clock strikes twelve is recognizing that we’ve already started moving in our purpose and didn’t wait for the New Year to start it. We’ve already made a list and curated what we are finally brave enough to leave behind.
Tonight is the “Midnight Release.” We’ve spent this month building our 2026 PinkPrint and almost a week of grounding ourselves in the Amara Principles, but you can’t step into a new evolution while you’re still carrying the weight of a version of yourself that no longer exists.
I’ve been reflecting on the journey of Michelle Obama lately; specifically how she talks about the process of Becoming. She taught us that “becoming” isn’t about arriving at a destination; it’s about the constant motion of outgrowing who you used to be. As we navigate a world that often feels heavy, we have to remember The Light We Carry. That light only shines bright when we clear away the shadows of doubt, the “imposter syndrome” from this past election cycle, and the expectations of a society that doesn’t always have our best interests at heart.

The Great Unburdening
To walk into 2026 with the grace of a Goddess, we have to be intentional about what stays in 2025. Here is what we are releasing tonight:
- The Weight of “Strong Black Womanhood”: We are releasing the idea that we have to carry the world on our shoulders at the expense of our own softness. We are choosing to be supported, to be cherished, and to prioritize our own rest.
- Financial Fear: We are leaving behind the anxiety of “not being enough.” We’ve seen the true colors of certain corporations, government administrators, and even the males who share our same skin but we are choosing to trust in our own collective economic power and the pinkprints we’ve designed.
- The Comparison Trap: Michelle Obama reminded us that we should never “stay small” just to make others feel comfortable. We are releasing the need to shrink our light. If your growth makes someone else uncomfortable, that is their work to do, not yours.
Entering the New Light
As the countdown begins, I want you to literally feel yourself getting lighter. Take a deep breath and visualize the “Becoming” that is waiting for you to tap into. You are not the same woman you were last December. Even if you just found me this month, you’re making the necessary changes. You are more refined, more focused, and more grounded in your worth.
We are entering 2026 not just to “survive” another year, but to thrive in the light we’ve already started cultivating. We are the women who overcome, not because it’s easy, but because we know who we are and whose we are.
Tomorrow morning, you wake up as the architect of a brand-new era. The blueprint is set, the intentions are clear, and the grace of Amara is leading the way.
Stay feminine, stay focused, and remember: Your release is the prerequisite for your rise. You are a Goddess who knows that letting go is a sacred act of faith, and your light is an unquenchable force. You’re just a woman, but the world is transformed by the courage you have to become.
With love,
