Back To School Boxes 2025

Did you know that The Alona Leoine Foundation donated Back To School Boxes again this year? Did you receive one? If so, I hope you were delighted by the surprises within.

For those who are new and don’t know…This is my third year and I started this because I recognized that high school teenagers are usually left out during Back To School events. My name is Alona Leoine, and I see you, Goddess!

I’m a 19-year-old student at the University of Michigan right now, but it wasn’t that long ago that I was walking the same high school halls as you with so much going on in the world and on my mind. I grew up on the east side of Detroit, and I know the pressure that comes with being a young, black, female. I managed to graduate with a 4.83 GPA, but it wasn’t easy, especially while navigating my own health obstacles. I learned that to truly shine, I had to learn how to take care of myself first and fully. As a mentor and motivational speaker, I want to share some of that light and wisdom with you because you deserve to feel supported, cherished, and empowered every single day.

That’s why I started donating special self-care boxes through THE ALONA LEOINE FOUNDATION. Inside, you’ll find feminine products, comforting hot chocolate and tea, a starter journal, and more all wrapped in our signature colors of light pink, cream, gold, and hints of emerald green. This isn’t just a box of things; it’s a reminder to pause and pour back into yourself. Being a Black and Melanin-rich teenager comes with its own unique set of pressures; from navigating puberty and stress to just figuring out who you are. This box is a hug in a physical form. A tool to help you find a moment of peace, reflect on your thoughts in your journal, and honor your body. It’s a declaration that your well-being is a priority.

The journey through your teen years is transformative and you don’t have to do it alone. My non-profit, THE ALONA LEOINE FOUNDATION, is here to provide mentorship and resources for teens just like you. For my young adults in 9th-12th grade, I created a special academy called THE EMERALD UNIVERSITY, dedicated to helping you discover the incredible power within your femininity to not just survive, but thrive mentally, physically, financially, and spiritually. I provide guides, tips, and more for free and there is a paid Emerald Box subscription that comes with even more items in a bigger box than you witness with the Tea Rose boxes that you have received today.

The products I create at ALONA LEOINE COUTURE, the boxes we donate from my foundation, and the blog and monthly box subscription from my academy are extensions of this mission—to give you tangible tools for your self-care journey towards couturing, culturing, and curating your best life. I am so excited to announce that we are relaunching with brand new blog entries and products on September 1st, 2025.
