The Leap Into February
I was looking at the calendar this morning, realizing we’ve survived the coldest month of the year by tending to our own internal fire. We didn’t just “get through” January; we built the foundation for a year that has no choice but to respect our name.
As we prepare to take the leap into February, I want us to pause. We’ve done the Day One execution, we’ve audited our Red Flags, we’ve reclaimed our Sacred Bleed, and we’ve stood tall in our Gilded No. Now, the energy is shifting. We are moving from the “Lab” phase of January into the “Legacy” phase of February.
February is Black History Month, but for the Scholar Goddess, every month is a celebration of our lineage. This year, however, February feels different. In a climate where our history is being challenged in classrooms and our contributions are being minimized in the headlines, and even erased…our existence is our resistance. We aren’t just “celebrating” history; we are the ones currently writing it.
The February Pivot: Honoring the Architects

To leap into next month with the right frequency, we have to look back at the women who didn’t just “survive” their eras…they designed them.
- The Visionaries of the 92%: We are stepping into a month where we honor the women who built the churches, the businesses, and the voting blocs that sustained us. As we look toward the 2026 economic shifts, we are channeling that “Agape” and “Amara” energy; turning collective struggle into collective sovereignty.
- The Art of the Pivot: If your January didn’t go exactly as planned, February is your first official “Grace Period.” The leap isn’t about jumping over your mistakes; it’s about jumping off of them to reach a higher perspective.
- The Cultural Glow-Up: Get ready. Next month, we are diving deep into Black Women in History; not just the names everyone knows, but the screenwriters, the entrepreneurs, and the quiet revolutionaries who made it possible for a girl from the eastside of Detroit to stand at the University of Michigan and call herself a Goddess.
Preparation for the Month of Love & Legacy
As the “Month of Love” approaches, keep your Love Trilogy principles close. Don’t let the Hallmark marketing or the “Galentine’s” pressure make you lower the bar you worked so hard to set this month.
- The Historical Audit: Pick one Black woman from history whose life mirrors your current “3-month goal.” Whether it’s a filmmaker like Julie Dash or a business mogul like Madam C.J. Walker, study her “Morning Architecture.” What did she protect to get where she was going?
- The Final January Release: Tonight, write down one last thing you are leaving in January. Maybe it’s the lingering doubt from a “Dusty” encounter or the fear of being “too much” in your classes. Leave it on the paper.
Sistahs, we are leaping into a month that was made for us. We are the daughters of the women who could make a meal out of nothing and a movement out of a whisper. We are entering February not to prove our worth, but to manifest it.
Stay feminine, stay focused, and remember: Your history is your fuel. You are a Goddess who knows that she is the continuation of a royal line, and your presence is a permanent asset to the world. You’re just a woman, but the world is reshaped by the courage you have to leap into your next evolution.
With love,
