Stop Eating Depression & Anxiety!

My mother used to always say that I am what I digest and I have come to believe her. By the time I was 9, I noticed some of the differences between me and some of the other children around me. Could it be learned behavior and actions, yes, though I decided to do the research so that I could let you all know that there is a such scientific thing as eating foods that can trigger depression and anxiety.

Here are the top things you could digest that can give you negative thoughts:

  • Soda Pop & Highly Sugared Drinks
  • High-Fatt Dairy Products
  • Processed Meats
  • Candies
  • Pastries
  • Fried Foods
  • Refined Cereals

Did you know that eating fruit can lower levels of depression and elevate the levels of your mental well-being? I guess that’s why the serpent (in the bible) said to Eve that the fruit will bring you more knowledge LOL. Lucky for us, we can eat all the fruit here now…well…unless you happen to see a tree in the middle of nowhere with angels guarding it and swords swinging back and forth.

Anyway, you don’t want to take in things that aim to always hype you up and then randomly bring you down. It often amazes me that people will drink pop and/or energy drinks to give them energy but there’s NOTHING good about blood-spiking drinks. And even if you’re drinking diet drinks, where they lack in sugar, they up the caffeine potency meaning you’re still stuck with the same problem.
